Stand for the publisher Materialverlag
Leipzig Book Fair 2009
The Materialverlag is part of HFBK, the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg.
A video installation links the
stand and the exposed books. Eight projected clips display the publisher's new releases being leafed through and viewed from
a reader's perspective. This attracts the visitor's attention to the publications even from a distance.
The books themselves are exposed on lean tables. Freely arranged seating folded of corrugated card board invites
the visitors to browse them comfortably.
The videos are supplemented
by film sequences by Claudia
Koch and Eric Bosaller with atmospheric insights of the academy.
